Fraser River Valley Lions Club (FRVLC) Snowman Pond Melt Rules 2025/26
By purchasing a ticket(s) I acknowledge that I am a US Resident, at least 21 years of age and have read and understood the Lions Snowman Pond Melt rules as follows:
1. Tickets are $5.00 each. All tickets must include name, mailing address, phone number and email address as well as your prediction of the date (day/month/year) and time (hour/minute/AM or PM)
2. Organizers are not responsible for contacting ticket holder to clarify a prediction if there is missing or unintelligible information. These predictions will be disregarded.
3. Winning prize will be 50% of net sales (excluding additional donations).
4. Winner will be closest chosen time, either before or after, to the Snowman Melting. Any ties will equally split the prize.
5. Snowman Melting is defined as the snowman or related structure going through the ice and either arm or any barrel or hat part touch the ice or water (the Snowman structure has fallen over)
6. The snowman will be video monitored and Melting will be determined by time on video recording. In event of any malfunction of video monitoring devices making it impossible to determine the time of Melting, the final Melting time will be determined by the Fraser Valley Lions Club using the above video as a guideline.
7. All tickets must be purchased by midnight March 15, 2026.
8. All sales are final, no refunds.
9. Winner or winners will be notified within 14 days after Melting. Any prize not claimed in thirty days after notification will be forfeited and distributed as follows: if there were other winning number(s) with the same time, the unclaimed share will be distributed to the other winning number or equally divided among those with the same numbers. If there are no other picks with the same time, the prize will be distributed to the next closest time either before or after as set out in rule 4 above.
10. FRVLC reserves the right to cancel due to Acts of God, vandalism/tampering of the equipment or Snowman structure or any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In case of one of these events, half of the funds collected up to this point would become donations to the FRVLC. The remaining half would be reserved for the prize for the following year.
By clicking “Buy Tickets” you are acknowledging that you have read and accept the rules.
