During the summer months, the Shining Stars team hosts kids living with pediatric cancer or another life-threatening illness and their families to YMCA of the Rockies (Snow Mountain Ranch) for life in the outdoors together. Lions serve dinner to the group one night during their stay. It’s a homecooked meal with all the food provided by the Lions Club members. We cook, serve and enjoy being with this special group during their adventure into Grand County.
